Every retired person, before his retirement, renders decades of dedicated service and is paid for all his services, salary and perks which are treated as income and is liable for payment of income tax.

After retirement he is paid pension for his livelihood on account of serving for so many years and income tax is levied, treating it as income.

Here a question arises as to whether Income Tax is levied on Pension is justified??

Therefore,  PENSION is not an income for any services or work. This is only a deferred wage by the employer to the employee for serving it for so many years.

Then why Income tax?

Raise your voice and let it reach the Govt to put a Stop to levy of Income tax on Pension, at least in the present budget session.
