Healthcare is a right, not a privilege. We are meant to live in a caring society where our health needs are provided free of charge from birth to death, yet the Philippines has failed to meet WHO standards. The healthcare system in the Philippines is broken. People, particularly the poor, have unfair and unequal access to healthcare at this tough time.

Our group, Equalit Organization, aims to create online sources that will help promote the awareness of people involved about this problem and create an online petition to improve individuals’ access to healthcare.

We believe that only the wealthy and privileged have access to healthcare and that those who are poor have unfair and unequal access. So let us all sign this petition because healthcare is a right, not a privilege, and it should be accessible to everyone.
