File ReBoot: The Guardian Code An International Litigation Plagiarism Lawsuit
The Issue
My Reason to Act: When I first found out about ReBoot ripping off one of my favorite shows of Code Lyoko, I was not happy to let that happen, and even more surprised that no one is taking it very seriously when it comes to getting away of stealing concept and ideas that already existed. So, I think there needs to be accountability for a tv show plagiarism regardless of the originated countries.
Problem: Our beloved French animated series has been a plagiarism victim of the newer ReBoot show for copying several concepts that have already existed with no respect. The fact is the production studios of Mainframe, Reboot productions, and Corus Entertainment, are responsible for stealing the ideas from Code Lyoko: (https://www.codelyoko.fr/dossiers/reboot.cl
- Universe Concept: The Same Base, Two Interpretations
- Characters: Comparing Personalities, Roles, & Virtual Avatars of the Heroes Between The Two Shows
- Weft: Screenwriting Equivalents
- Inconsistencies: Similar Blindspots
These stolen ideas came well-after Code Lyoko has aired on France 3 and Cartoon Network from 2003 to 2007. So, they must've known the Code Lyoko cartoon show before copying concepts to create this show on Netflix.
Solution: Our goal, in this case, is to have Mediatoon Distribution of Darguad Media file the studios from the ReBoot: The Guardian Code as an international litigation plagiarism lawsuit.
Without the Victory: our chances of continuing our favorite show will not happen soon enough without holding the ReBoot studios accountable for their plagiarism actions.
Benefit To Who? The lawsuit victory will benefit the Darguad Media subsidiaries, including Mediatoon and Ellipsanime, to take advantage of the golden opportunity by using the money to make plans of giving Code Lyoko a legitimate continuation of its original animated series.
