In 2017 I was erroneously sentenced to 33 years for a non- violent drug offense and now I’m writing to ask for your help.

For the crime I was convicted of by a jury, “Drug Distribution”, the punishment carry a sentence of 77 to 96 months (6 to 8 years). At my sentencing the Judge applied a provision called “Relevant Conduct”, and sentenced me to 400 months (33yrs) for other drug offenses that I was not charged or convicted of, nor awarded an opportunity to have a Jury decide those factors . Because of this, my Constitutional Right to Due Process was violated and I am serving a wrongful prison sentence that is 4 times longer and I’m trying to raise awareness to this injustice.

The Free Anthony W. Lomax Project has started this petition address to Mike Braun ( senator of Indiana) and (Congressman) Andre Carson to change the misuse of “Relevant Conduct” in the criminal justice system.
