Many people have come forward about their discomfort with the Swift Middle School dress code. I am creating this petition because the dress code is unfair and must be changed for the following reasons:

-It specifically targets female students

-It doesn't value personal expression

-It is unfair to students of different body types

-It is subjective and interpreted by different teachers based on their personal opinion and biases

-And overall fails to recognize the inclusivity of the Swift student body
 

The rules teach young girls to be ashamed and insecure about their bodies. Students face embarrassment and discomfort by being unfairly targeted and taken out of class because of outdated reasons. By signing this petition and joining together, we can support all students in a more comfortable and equal school environment.
