In 2010 Qatar has won the rights to host the FIFA World Cup of 2022.

Qatar is a country with not even the basic infrastructure, which means that according to estimations more than a million foreign workers will be needed to work in order for the country to be ready to host such an event.

However, there are serious concerns and criticism from all over the world for the fact that Qatar keeps on violating basic human rights of the expatriate workers and not complying with any international labour laws.

Human Rights Watch keeps on reporting and pushing for a solution or FIFA has to revoke the rights for Qatar to host the World Cup:
