More Female Toilet Facilities at Music Festivals in the UK
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
I attend many gigs and festivals in the UK and over the last 15 years have not seen enough change for women's needs compared to men's needs in terms of quantity of toilet facilities. While the quality of facilities have improved, there are still just not enough provided. I am disgusted to see enormously long queues of women who have paid the same amount of money as everyone else to invariably miss out on seeing their favourite artist by spending an eternity waiting to use a toilet cubicle. It is about time festival organisers and music venues did more to cater for women's needs and increased the number of cubicles for them at these events so they no longer have to endure the agony, embarrassment and frustration of waiting to perform a simple bodily function. This should not be an economical decision for a festival site as we all deserve easy access to toilets. I know that if men were forced to wait upwards of 20/30 minutes to go to the loo, things would be changing quicker. Please sign this petition and lets improve the equality in our thriving festival scene.
