Wish you all a wonderful 2023 and hope you all are having a great start to the year. I have been following up with NParks and I am hence sharing the most recent follow-up formal request, while I have been calling the NParks team regularly, attempting to get in touch.
I understand that some key decision-makers have gone on leave once again and hence attached the follow-up email for your perusal.

Dear Ms.Kalthom & NParks Associates,
I wish you all a very Happy New Year and hope that you are having a good start to 2023. I am thankful for the call from one of your associates on Dec 21 stating that some of you are going on leave and to await updates in Jan. I am given to understand now, that some of you have taken leave this week upon attempting to reach out to you on this matter, while I was informed someone might contact me soon.
As it stands today, I wanted to bring to your kind attention that there are 513 residents/supporters of this cause (https://chng.it/FdGpwPyHL6 awaiting NParks feedback on:
- the next steps of planning and the timelines one may expect for work to commence (or)
- some type of concrete feedback on whether this site has been approved for the fencing requirements as requested earlier (reference# the letter from the Honourable MP Ms. SYLVIA LIM, attached)
I have communicated or relayed that the expectations of such said constituents were to request the fencing as an immediate priority, and for NParks to take this into your kind consideration as you plan the site visits (if this hasn't happened already). The other aspects such as water point(s), and lighting are optional as these facilities already exist and not the nature of the original request, while we truly appreciate the holistic approach the NParks team might be considering for setting up a dog run (details in my emails furnished below).
We would be much obliged for an in-person meeting and discussion to address such points communicated and to understand the next steps to help manage our excitement and expectations overall with the continued support from NParks.
On behalf of the supporters, I hence place my humble request once again, for a discussion of the said points at the Surin Park site for more productive next steps at your soonest convenience.
