Dear Mr Kris GS,
Thank you for your email.
Rest assured that we are looking into your suggestion. The evaluation is taking some time as we conduct the feasibility studies, including assessment of possible sites within the park to support a dog run, without compromising on the needs of other park users and impact on nearby residential homes, as well as for the provision of utilities e.g. a water point for the dog run.
We should be able to get back to you on the outcome of your suggestion in Jan 2023. We will keep you posted if we are able to conclude our assessment sooner or to arrange for a meeting to engage the dog owners’ community.
In the meantime, Seasons Greetings and Happy New Year to you and your family.
Best,
Kalthom

Dear Ms.Kalthom & NParks Associates,
Thank you very much for your email and we are grateful for your efforts and feedback. I wanted to highlight that the immediate request was only for fencing while you seem to be exploring the holistic options such as a water point and the rest indicated in your email (wonderful). I wanted to take the opportunity to hence highlight this from my email below dated 6 Nov 2022 to help prioritize a few aspects for your consideration and continued evaluation.
- The water feature is available already for visitors and you probably meant you are exploring an extension of the water pipe to the particular site within the park (the one marked in the petition as a suggestion).
- The site proposed is not usable as a playground due to the slope and uneven ground (it's ideal for dogs) and has not been put to use effectively by park visitors (we are regulars).
- Hence we as a community, reckon that it should not hamper any known regular/planned activities in the park.
- The site proposed as you might notice is also completely secluded from the residential building and is located perfectly in the center.
- Thereby this also allows park visitors to use the rest of the space for their leisure walking, exercises etc.
- I am happy to meet you/your team whenever you arrange the site visit as I figure this probably hasn't happened yet based on the feedback (this is just to help simplify the ask/expectations and I am just 7 min away on foot).
Thank you so much for your kind consideration and efforts; it would be a great pleasure to meet you and your team in person (or speak to you on the phone to explain this better) - you have our gratitude and happy to extend my support as needed. I have furnished the references and further details below.
We wish you and your loved ones Happy Holidays and a wonderful year ahead and many more to come!
