New York City needs our help more than ever. I cannot watch our fellow human suffering in the form of homelessness anymore. Restrictions to help out are rapidly rising.We can no longer stand by and say "our elected officials will handle it, they'll do the right thing by them" because clearly that's not the case. If our leaders don't want to enact positive change I feel it's up to us as the people to do our due diligence and push for the change that new York and so many other cities desperately need. I'm proud to be a New Yorker and everyday that has been threatened with nonsense legislation saying it's illegal to feed the homeless because "they don't want homeless as visible" well I say they are extremely visible and I  sure see. I will not accept being told I can't do what I feel is right for my community. If one wants to go and do a good deed and feed those in need they should have every right to do so. Period. So I'm calling for as many signatures as possible in an effort to throw out these brutal laws designed to keep the homeless "out of sight, and out of mind". My goal through this petition is to feed the homeless with freedom. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
