Luke Hernandez started this petition to Federal Trade Comission and

As I'm sure anyone who has seen a mobile game ad and downloaded the advertised game, 90% of the games you get are falsely advertised to get more downloads. Similar to the clickbait problem YouTube had for a while, mobile game ads are purposefully lying to you so that you feel enticed to get their game and earn them more ad revenue. This just makes mobile game devs show advertised trends like "My mom Vs. My dad" ads, which have very hyped up music to excite viewers. Other trends include "Make your choice", where the person playing the game chooses things that go against common sense to make you feel better at your chances of winning, "Only people with X IQ can solve this", which has the same problems as "Make your choice" ads. In addition, the worst offenders in my opinion are "Game demo ads". These ads use a gif to make it look like you have the option to play a demo of the game, when in reality if you click on it the game downloads itself, which is deceiving because some ads actually have demos. If I had the option, I would be stricter about the truth in these ads and not allow gifs or demo games.
