Release Captain Paul Watson

Release Captain Paul Watson
The Issue
Captain Paul Watson, founder and President of Sea Shepherd Conservation Society traveled to Germany to participate in FedCon XXI in Düsseldorf, Germany, in support of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Upon his arrival in Germany, Captain Watson was arrested by German authorities for extradition to Costa Rica. The German police reported that the warrant for Captain Watson's arrest was in response to an alleged violation of ships traffic in Costa Rica, which occurred during the filming of "Sharkwater" in 2002.
All animal lovers and those concerned about the environment and the state of our oceans are urged to help convince the German officials at the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to step in and overturn their decision for extradition.
Please read Captain Watson's statement to get a complete understanding of the situation. We must encourage the German government to take a "do the right thing," stand on this issue!
