For so long already, technology has became part of our daily life. Though when it breaks down, some decide to send it to landfills instead of recycling properly or even trying to repair it.

According to Time News​, Cali Carting and CBC electronic waste is becoming a problem. About 56 million tons of electronics are being wasted per year. That's right, 56 million tons. If you think that number is small think again. This number is only going up.

And sure, there are laws that stop people from throwing it out just like that. Though I find that it is necessary for a global law and stricter regulations against throwing out electronics to the garbage.

Remember, time is ticking. The more time we wait the more advanced we get which obviously means more technology. We have to stop this before it’s too late. I personally started this after my school started throwing out laptops that were too “old” and they were replaced. Thanks to some work with my teacher and me, I was able to pick up the “old” tech. So far, I didn’t go past anything that I could not fix. Imagine if the whole global population would just try a little before throwing it out or recycling. What difference it would make.
