The situation continues to worsen across Syria. More than 8.4 million children are in need of urgent humanitarian aid and have witness unrelenting violence from the brutal conflict that began more than 5 years ago. As of September 2015 about 58% of public hospitals are partially functional or completely destroyed. The children in Syria are living under siege and in area hard to reach without access to aid due to air strikes and bombings.

The Federal government needs to call attention to the United Nations to create a safe haven for these children where they can obtain access to aid and basic health care. A safe haven needs to be created for the children, no child should have to live such a horrific life. If a safe haven is created closer to the military base in Kobane it would decrease the chances of attacks. Without the safe haven innocent children will continue suffering, dying, dealing with lifelong psychological effects and will grow up full of hate and anger. The children have nowhere to go and nothing they can do to save themselves.
