It has been 15 years and still no justice for Sergeant LaVena Lynn Johnson. I find her story terrifying and I believe we can seek justice for her. Will you stand with me?

LaVena Lynn Johnson was a fearless, beautiful, young woman. After the attacks of 9/11, she was inspired to join the U.S army and to fight for our country. On July 19, 2005, LaVena was found dead in her military tent while she was serving in Iraq, she was 19 at the time of her death. Johnson had been raped and murder. She had a gunshot wound on the top-left side cranial above her left eye, her genitalia was burned off with acid, and her death had been ruled as “suicide”. LaVena had been in the army for 9 and a half months and was in Iraq for approximately 6 weeks. The army contacted LaVena’s father soon after her death telling him that LaVena apparently stuck an M16 rifle in her mouth and shot herself with it, they also said that the bullet had exited the back of her head. One of the first three respondents had stated that there wasn’t a rifle at the time of the scene. Shortly before her death, LaVena had taken a pic of herself with a M16 rifle. I believe that it is impossible for her death to be considered a “suicide “ with the circumstances surrounding it, we demand the FBI to reopen her case and to give justice to LaVena and her family.
