One of the most promising potential treatments for ALS is stem cells.   A particular methodology developed by the company BrainStorm is called NurOwn.  They are conducting phase 3 clinical trials at several sites in the United States and early reports indicate that these  trials have been quite successful at mitigating, stopping and even reversing the effects of this horrible disease. We need the FDA to fast track this technology and allow people with ALS to receive these treatments under the right to try provision!  I have been battling ALS for four years now and time is running out for me and for many others.  We are losing our ability to move our arms and legs, to speak, to eat and eventually to breathe.
