Gans, in Springhill Township, represents one of the last areas along the mountains in Fayette County PA to be left in its original, undeveloped natural landscape. Free of bright lights, large buildings, stop lights, or traffic. 

Fay Penn and the Fayette county commissioners are trying to force an industrial park in the heart of Gans. Taking 230 acres of pristine farmland and turning into a concrete slab. This project will creat huge infrastructural changes and in turn, disturbances. Our sky will no longer be dark, our streets no longer quiet. Our view of the mountain from this gorgeous cornfield will cease to exist. Our rural area that most of us live here for will no longer be rural. Their next step in forcing this on the residents of Gans is to re-zone the remaining corn field from agriculture to light industrial. 

We need to take immediate action and tell the commissioners NO to approving this re-zoning which would allow them to move forward with the industrial park planning. Sign this petition and let your voice be heard .
