OUR FIGHT FOR FREEDOM

In the past few years, we have encountered this growing push by radicals to limit the very vessel with which we use to consume beverages. From iced coffees to cocktails, soft drinks to smoothies, I'm fed up with being FORCED to use a paper straw. 

When your water bottle leaks in your backpack, paper books get mouldy and deteriorate quickly amongst the liquid. The same thing occurs in any beverage with a paper straw; it disintegrates! Not to mention the taste of cardboard funnily enough does not go well with my iced latte from the Coffee Club on a Monday morning.

I understand the environmental concerns, but does that need to come at a cost to consumer experience? In my eyes, this is like asking people to run their cars on pineapple juice; it just simply doesn't work the same way! I've consulted with fellow upset Australians from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and right throughout my home on the Gold Coast.

The appetite for resistance is huge. Corporations will pander to this growing move for paper straws, but I won't stand for it. At the very least, let's give consumers a choice or at least wait until we have a better alternative than PAPER straws!

Let's go against the grain and fight for a consumers right to their beverage consumption vessel of choice!
