Justice for Mom (Tressa Tonni)

The Issue

  • As most of you know, our Mother, Tressa Tonni was murdered by her roommate Janet Larosa in 1992. She was just 50 years old. The murderer pleaded guilty and received a life sentence plus 3 years gun spec. She was previously up for parole twice in the past ten years, each time being denied and as of today she’s served 28 years. Today we’ve learned that the day we thought would never come she was just approved for release by what we were told “a few board members” and that we can appeal by requesting a “full board hearing”. We will do everything and anything to keep this woman who shot our Mother point blank not once, but twice in the head while she was sleeping and left her there for my poor 80-something Grandpa to find her lifeless body. Anyone of you who remembers our Mom will remember she was always laughing, telling jokes, one of the cool Mom’s all the kids loved and she was always there for anyone who needed anything. We are please asking just for your signature to keep Janet Larosa behind bars where she belongs. She took our Mother’s life and freedom, so why should she be given another chance?
