Re-Trial For Rogel Aguilera-Mederos- I-70 accident driver
Re-Trial For Rogel Aguilera-Mederos- I-70 accident driver
The Issue
23 year old Rogel Aguilera-Mederos Was wrongfully convicted of a crime he did not intend to pursue. On April 25th, 2019 Rogel Aguilera-mederos started his day as a normal everyday semi-truck driver, stressed and tired but “no intent on hurting a soul once in his life” says Rogel. That day he lost his brakes in Colorado's high roads And failed to hit a truck runway ramp before then colliding with other drivers on the speedway eventually killing 4. On December 13th, 2021 Rogel was sent to court on behalf of 4 vehicular manslaughter counts. (One count being up to 4-6 years maximum sentence.) Jefferson county court, like all cases, failed to take an any consideration that this was the biggest accident of Rogels life. He never intended to hurt anyone. I am not a criminal," he said. "I am not a murderer. I am not a killer. When I look at my charges, we are talking about a murderer, which is not me. I have never thought about hurting anybody in my entire life." -says rogel in his trial right before the judge hits him with 27 charges and sentencing him 110 years in prison. We the people do not agree that this was a fair nor justified sentencing on his behalf in any way shape or form and we say retrial. YOU guys can change the outcome of this guys life. He deserves another chance and I think we can get this for him.
