The film Vaccine War directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by Pallavi Joshi is based on development of Covaxin during Covid 19 period .
The objectionable part of the film is the dialogue that says Sunnis go to perform Haj at Mecca whereas Shias are going for Haj at Qom, near Tehran (Iran) . This is a false accusation towards Shia's across the world.

Not only is this statement incorrect but it shows that Shia Muslims have different beliefs than other Muslims. Already Shia's have been persecuted and killed, this false statement gives more credence to their detractors.

Hajj is only performed at Mecca by all Muslims. Shia go to Qum and other sacred places to get blessings from the Holy Progeny of the Prophet (PBUH). Shia Muslims are no different when it comes to the Tenant's of Islam (The primary obligations of Muslims) of Prayers, Fasting, Giving Alms and Performing the Annual Pilgrimage to Mecca (Hajj), which are the common acts of worship, obligatory on all Muslims. 

We, the Shia Muslims want Mr. Vivek Agnihotri to delete the offensive statements from the Movie and to apologize to the community, for not researching before making such statements of falsehood.
