Supporters of the SAVE ANTHONY'S RESTAURANT movement have been turning out in numbers to Petition the Falls Church City Council. In just over 24 hours, since Thursday at noon, until Friday at 4:00 p.m., 292 supporters signed the Petition online at change.org, and 225 signed in person at Anthony's Restaurant, 517 and counting. FRIENDS OF ANTHONY'S are still counting; petitions will continue to be available online and at Anthony's Restaurant. Through this seemingly unstoppable groundswell supporters have received signatures and support from far and near, from Falls Church and adjacent jurisdictions, to Tennesse, Upper NY State, to Morocco. Their reasons, for supporting the cause are heartwarming and speak about the essential values that Anthony has added to the City through generations.
