The petition to the City Council of Falls Church that asks the City Council to make it a a stipulation to include support for the re-establishment of ANTHONÝ'S RESTAURANT in Falls Church will be available to sign by all interested parties from Thursday through Sunday at Anthony's Restaurant. Supporters of the cause to SAVE ANTHONY's RESTAURANTS, who call themselves FRIENDS OF ANTHONY's RESTAURANT, do not oppose the planned development for a mixed used center at the present location of Anthony's Restaurant and the old Post Office, but stress that progress does not preclude the conservation of community values, FRIENDS OF ANTHONY'S point out that it is within the responsibility of elected CIty Council members to make every possible effort to preserve community institutions that add to the value of the City. They believe that the Council has the power to stipulate conditions that will make this possible, as it moves forward responsibly to wholly support Falls Church and its community.
