Through a haphazard system of decision making, that lacked both adequate public input and logic, the board has voted to deny FM student athletes the same basic opportunities afforded other student athletes around the State of NH, despite the fact that our children are attending classes remotely and there is no risk of speading infection to other students or staff.

The board has allowed their own personal feelings and beliefs to influence their decisions to the profound disadvantage of the student athletes.

The board has knowingly chosen to step outside their purview and disregard/misinterpret guidance from state public health officials and the NHIAA to the profound disadvantage of the student athletes.

Members of the board have demonstrated through their public comments, a lack of understanding with regard to athletics and a general contempt for student athletes.

The decisions of the board demonstrate a clear disregard for the fair treatment and overall physical and mental well-being of student athletes.

We request that the board call a special meeting on or before 12/7/20 to address these grievances.

We request that the board adhere to state guidance, apply logic and industry standards and vote to allow FM student athletes, K-12, the same basic opportunities afforded to other children across the state.
