COVID-19, also known as Coronavirus, started in China and has spread to the United States. Just recently, 3 cases have been discovered in our next door state, Maryland, in Montgomery County. To prevent it from sticking to our students and staff, we want to close Fairfax County Public School temporarily. To make up for the content that is supposed to be taught during that time, students who bring laptops home from school can use Google Classroom and other resources to keep up on the curriculum. For those who don’t yet have that privilege, they can be taught and given hard copies of work beforehand. Education means nothing without maintaining health, which is why we ask for your support.
