On February 28th, 2024, John E. Morgan was found guilty on two counts of murder and felonious assault. The local media had him painted as a vigilante seeking revenge on his estranged wife's "best friend".

What they failed to mention was the 17 potentially fatal blows John took to the skull, face, neck, and back. They failed to mention the threats and phone call made 6 weeks prior to the premeditated attack.

The media and State failed to mention that John had picked up his daughter and grandson weekly to bring them to family dinner, yet this particular week the instigator was waiting and planning his attack.

They failed to mention that weapons were used, there was an illegal search of John's personal possessions, a tampered crime scene and 20 minutes of footage missing. Which proves there was NEVER a chain of custody when it came to the video footage, in which John provided. 

They failed to mention that John was wearing flip-flops and shorts, called 911 himself while others stood around and watched the vicious attack. 

The State called 3 different law enforcement officers, all of which lied under oath. "Did you separate the witnesses", the defense asked. The response "I never spoke with that individual", yet the video footage tells a different story. 

There's always a gamble when taking a case to trial, but when the corruption becomes so blatant your chances of winning are obsolete. 

I begged John to fight when this first occurred. I encouraged him NOT to take the plea deal, just because I know the kind of man he is. There is NO way John went over there with the intent to harm anyone. Zero possible chance. 

What I didn't know was how corrupt our system was. I had no clue prosecutors would lie and manipulate to get their win. Law enforcement officers, who I have always respected and thought highly of, would erase evidence, stage a crime scene, and coerce witnesses. I had NO clue our judicial system was so unjust. 

John knows I will continue to advocate for the truth, I will continue to share his story as long as he continues to fight while he is incarcerated. 

John deserves this and I will do everything I possibly can make sure his story is heard.

When all else fails, PLEASE continue to pray for him! This is truly a living nightmare and a situation that anyone with children could have been in. We need PRAYERS more than anything! My GOD is always good.
