This petition is for all PAYING parents of the Australian Child Support system. 
Everyone SUFFERS
We are calling for a fair review of the current broken system that encourages non paying parents to not work because they know they will be paid well under the current child support framework. 
1. The tool for calculation is unfair. The harder someone works to survive the more they are penalised. 
2. This is NOT about parent not wanting to pay and support their children.  This is about the other parent being able to monopolise, lie and cheat the system so they do not have to be accountable for the money they receive and where it is spent. Statements or a card system. 
3. STOP the alienation of the paying parent through manipulation of the children. Mental health supports to all and independent assessments for the children. 
4. Assessment of affordability of the paying parent more than means but liabilities they hold. As some hold debts after relationship breakdowns. This is currently NOT considered and places tremendous pressure on people. We DO matter as well. 
5. Human rights upheld for all. 
6. Decrease the rate of suicide due to the tremendous stress and the sheer helpless feeling of NOT being able to survive. 
7. Affordable, accountable and transparent system for supporting all parties in all areas such as emotional and legal. 

We can not sit back and watch the suicide rates increase anymore some people do not survive emotionally, financially.  missing the years with their children. This is being controlled by people that are not coming from a well being perspective.
