We, the undersigned, call on the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction to reform the income and disability assistance payment schedule. The current practice of shifting deposit dates leaves recipients with uncertain payment schedules and causes significant financial hardship. We support implementing a bi-weekly payment system or a fixed monthly anchor with automated bank buffers to ensure stable and predictable income.
