Just asking, as a commercial driver that attends safety meetings, safe driving courses, and such at least once a year for the past 24 years, WHY doesn't my insurance reflect this.

I've had a CDL for 24 years. I have multiple safe driving awards from the various companies I've worked for. I attend safety meetings, driver training and other courses.

But my insurance refuses to recognize that. 

My 48 year old girlfriend just got her license, and pays $300less per year for her BMW than I pay for my newer Jeep.

WHY?!??

Additionally, I pay a "family" rate for health coverage.

The same per month for the 2 of us as someone with 1-99 children.

WHY???
