Stony Brook University business student Tyler is beginning his business The Smoothie Spot, a great food truck for any and all students and staff on Stony Brook campus. Recently, Tyler was rejected by the Faculty Student Association to begin this venture, after a year and half in the making, and countless time and resources. Tyler started this venture in the spring of 2018. What was supposed to be a process of a few months turned into almost two years. Constant meetings, feeling ignored, corrections to contracts, being talked down to, not being given information, and other frustrating barriers ultimately led Tyler to speak with the Board of FSA. One week after speaking up for himself, Tyler was informed completely out of the blue that The Smoothie Spot would no longer have a contract with FSA  at Stony Brook University. A very vague and contradictory reason was given for this decision, but ultimately Tyler could do nothing about it. Please support him in his last effort to provide a service to SBU and for his voice to be heard.
