A petition has been circulated to block former NFL quarterback Michael Vick from being chosen as a Pro Bowl captain. The uproar is stemming from his crime of dog fighting back in 2007, to which he admitted & served 21 months in federal prison, paid fines & had his career derailed as a result; not to mention being subjected to on going scrutiny & vitriol. The public smear campaign needs to stop! Michael Vick has a past. We all have a past. He has a human right to be allowed to move beyond his past & not be defined by it & so do we all. I urge you to rise up, sign this petition & let it be made publicly known that enough is enough. The time is well passed for the court of public opinion to be adjourned on this issue. 2020 is fast approaching! We will Not allow Michael Vick to be used as the proverbial poster child for animal cruelty!
