Many people are facing problems with Instagrams new update. The first problem is that Instagram has replaced the “feed” or “likes” tab with Instagram Shopping. Some people have complained that they have bought products on accident due to how easily it is to click a button and purchase something. Instagram is becoming less personalized to pictures and trying to push people to shop on Instagram. This is no longer the platform that billions of people signed up for.  
the second problem is that Instagram has made it nearly impossible for smaller accounts & brands to gain recognition due to the algorithm change. 
This change has caused many people to no longer use Instagram and switch to other platforms where they can gain the recognition they deserve such as Tiktok. It’s not fair that pictures are only being shown to a small number of followers when people choose to follow an account specifically to see their pictures. Especially when there’s almost no other way for non-followers to find their posts. This is change is affecting many small brands and influencers who are already struggling due to COVID.
