As a young woman, I have grown up seeing the bodies of girls and women objectified, seeing men view them as sexual objects and not as people. I hope to see this change in my lifetime, and I hope to see the amount of objectification of our bodies extremely decrease. One way we can do this - women and men both - is to get pages such as these, that encourage the objectification, off of Facebook. There are several of these "Rack of the Day" pages on Facebook, the biggest one having over 700,000 likes. We need to have these pages removed if we are truly going to stray away from viewing women as objects of sexual desire. Sign this petition and let's get these pages off of Facebook, and help end the oversexualization of women's bodies.
