Social media is inescapable. For children, it is everywhere they look. Kids begin to have a body image at the age of 3. Social media influences that at an immensely high rate.

Every day, children as young as 3 are logging onto the internet and exploring its vast expanse of entertainment. Some find photos of men and women that have reshaped their bodies to look 'attractive', mostly thin or to have bigger 'assets'.

Children are easy to convince and convincing a child that being thin is being worthy of likes, followers, and popularity is as easy as clicking the 'Post' button. This causes children to have ideals that force them into dieting, starving, and sometimes physical disorders or mental illnesses.

Along with children, teenagers and adults can be led to believe the same idea. The only difference is that this idea causes, in some extreme cases, anorexia, depression, or an untimely death.

Having influencers and other people that are known offenders of photoshop label their altered photos so that young people, children teenagers, and some adults, do not have this idea embedded into their minds. A simple flip of a switch to label a photo may save one life from suffering from a disorder or a mental illness.
