I am an entrepreneur. I own and operate Highly Holistic, a small Vermont business which is in the early stage of development. I live in Greensboro Vermont. I am a craft entity and I work with plants like hemp to make a variety of products including salves, candies and soaps. My small business gives back to my local community by supplying homeopathic products to local people in need, at no cost to them. 

For 2021 my business has taken a huge hit due to constant bans on social media platforms, primarily Facebook. Social media platforms like Facebook,  Instagram and TikTok are the most amazing tools to communicate with the outside world, especially during the pandemic. The bans are crippling my business and causing me to have to help less people. 

The bans happen excessively on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

As a general public, we should be demanding that social media giants' rules work parallel with the standards we live day in and day out in our society. Hemp is a natural resource which has the potential to solve so many problems including seriously cutting back on trashing our planet with biodegradable hemp based plastic! CBD oil has been proven successful in seizure control in many epileptics and provide pain relief for arthritis. We use it in salves, soaps, fabric, food and cleaners even... I personally can not understand why these social media giants are choosing to label hemp as an illegal drug when it is not! Working in the hemp and even cannabis industry (where it is legal to do so) is just as hard and honest of a living as your local dairy farm! This practice of banning hemp items on social media platforms is crippling to small businesses like mine. Please sign and share.
