We would like Facebook to obtain a PRS licence to cover DJs and events who make no money from live streaming music to others on their social media platform, this also includes people who live stream from music events as paying customers who are giving insite into their social world which also tend to get blocked due to the music playing in the background.

Facebook makes in the region of a net income of 18.49 billion US dollars a year and obtaining a PRS licence for people to show their talent, entertain, film themselves at live music events, run free music and charity events on the Facebook platform especially during this Covid19 epidemic while live music events arnt an option would not put a dent in said profits.

so as DJs, Promoters and music lovers we ask that Facebook look into obtaining a PRS licence at their earliest convinience.
