Ban the sale of live animals on Facebook

The Issue

The practise of selling and breeding of live animals is something many of us feel strongly against. However, selling them on the internet when there is little information about who the animals are being sold to, if they have a history of animal abuse or if they are able to properly take care of the animals or not is so much worse. Animals are often sold at a very cheap price and it fuels the problem of mistreated animals and puts pressure on shelters and sanctuaries that are already struggling to cope. Please do not allow people to sell live animals on Facebook, stopping this practise will help to reduce incidences of animal abuse and relieve pressure on the organisations left to pick up the pieces.
