Ban the Sale of Free Animals on Facebook

The Issue

Every year countless animals are given away for free on Facebook. While some will find good homes, many will go to animal flippers who will resell them for a profit. Even worse-many will be snatched up by dog fighting rings to be used as "bait animals". Others will fall prey to animal abusers who scour the pet pages for their next victims.  These animals will suffer and die at the hands of careless/sick individuals, and until it is stopped the blood of those animals is on the hands of those who control the policies of Facebook and refuse to do anything about it. Requiring a rehoming fee of at least $25 will discourage many of these individuals, as they want to acquire their victims as cheaply as possible. I implore you to take the lives of each of these precious animals into consideration and do what is best for them, and for society. Ban the sale of free animals on Facebook.
