This petition represents all those signed in recognizing the necessity of maintaining an alias that is tied to a real person while being able to prove to shareholders that this alias is, in fact, a real person.

Currently, Facebook can even restrict names based on ethnicity due to cultures having naming conventions that differ from Facebook's policies.

This petition proposes the following changes to Facebook's policies:

- Allow Aliases to be utilized as the Primary Name of the account holder.

- Create a new field under "Contact and Basic Info" that reads "Real Name."

- Require users to submit a Real Name in the above mentioned field and verify it via a similar process currently employed (eg: Government ID, Passport, etc...).

- Allow users to control the visibility of that real name (ie: Public, Friends Only, Only Me).

- If an Alias is reported as Fake, allow Friends of said Alias to vote in a poll system that will reaffirm what name the User is most recognizable by within their group of peers.

-Continue restricting aliases that disregard Facebook's Code of Conduct (eg: Promotes Racism, Hate Speech, Vulgarities, etc...).

- Implement a Trusted system in which popular celebrities can have a Facebook Approved identifier on their account to reduce the risk of impersonators.
