On May 1st, 2015, my friend Michael Hernandez went missing. We haven’t seen a trace of him since. We fear he might be hurt and can’t get to help, or worse, and we need the FBI to step in and take over the case to help us find him.

Please join me and Michael’s family and ask the FBI to take over his missing person’s case so we have the best chance of finding him.

My name is Melisa Rivera, and Michael’s mother is my best friend. I have known Michael since he was a baby, and watched him grow up into the amazing, hardworking father he is today. Michael would do anything for his family, and now they want to do the same for him by convincing the FBI to take over the case from local officials.

I cannot put into words the agony his mother and father are feeling as they wait by the phone day in and day out, hoping for the best, but fearing the worst. While they are nearly too broken to speak, I must be their voice.

Imagine not knowing where your loved one had vanished. Wouldn’t you want the best team possible out there searching for them?

Since his disappearance we have been in constant contact with local officials, and have been asking the local authorities to hand over the case to the FBI. FBI officials have told us they will take our petition into consideration when deciding to take on this case. Your signature could make a real difference in helping to find Michael.
