I along with many others living in Greensboro, NC are working together to have an extended amount of time to speak with the representatives of Greensboro city council. Some topics we'd like to speak more on are the genocide of the Palestinian people are facing, the children in Congo, the women of Sudan, the men of Haiti and many others fighting for their human rights. This also includes the people of Greensboro! Those were just a few of examples of injustices and suffering that people are currently struggling with to this day! We can work together towards achieving a better and safer world for everyone. Being able to express the atrocities happening around the world due to, the involvement of America's government and other authoritarian forces is the first step. This Petition is calling for an extension (an additional 3 minutes) on how long the "public" are allowed to speak during the city council meeting. Additionally we are demanding a resolution to be added to the agenda for the People of Greensboro tax dollars funding the Isreali military to immediately be revoked, and for a different approach the funding should be used for humanitarian aid to be provided for Palestinians and other nations at once!
