I, like many students, get hungry sometimes. When applying to live in residence I paid for a mandatory 7 day meal plan that was advertised as "unlimited food". What TMU fails to understand is that all students have different school schedules as well as different eating schedules. Many students have classes that start before the dining hall opens or after the dining hall closes. This is completely unjust as they have paid for a meal plan but their schedule doesn't allow them to eat breakfast or dinner. Many students have activities or sports or jobs that don't allow them to eat on a regular schedule and TMU is actively depriving those students of the food they need despite charging a lot of money on a meal plan that is mandatory. Either the dining hall needs to extend it's hours or students need to be allowed to take food out in order to solve these problems.
