Extending the existing Timbarra school would offer a great enhancement to the whole community. More secondary school places are needed in the area. Adding years 10-12 to Timbarra College would be a welcomed solution. 

Timbarra students and their families are currently forced to make the disruptive and stressful transition to various other schools for years 10-12. The students do not move on to a single senior campus or any one high school together, they are separated due to their individual residential zones or ability to afford private education. 

On top of the increased academic demands of senior high school years, Timbarra students have the added and difficult task of assimilating into a new school at year 10 without their familiar surrounds, teachers or peer groups. 

 It would be beneficial to all current and future students to be able to provide the option of continuity, consistency and stability through their secondary education at Timbarra College from Prep to year 12.

Please sign this petition to demonstrate to the Department of Education, The City of Casey  and the Victorian State Government that the Timbarra Community and the wider Community support and advocate for investing in extending Timbarra P-9 College to year 12.
