Traffic builds up every day on Nagar Road between the neighbourhoods of Ramwadi and Wagholi. Most of the traffic could be alleviated if the Aqua line of the Pune Metro could be extended beyond Ramwadi to Wagholi, with stops at Phoenix Market City, Viman nagar and Kharadi Phata.

This will reduce travel time for people travelling between Wagholi and Pune City and will also reduce the headache faced by lakhs of people travelling on Nagar Road. Plus, it is far more environmentally friendly.
