James Madison University (JMU) plays a crucial role in the lives of its students, providing not only education but also essential services such as dining and healthcare. However, the current operating hours of these facilities do not meet the needs of all students. D-Hall and E-Hall close too early for those studying late at night, while stores like Mr.Chips are unavailable for late-night snack or meal options. Lastly, the health center remains closed on weekends when many students might require medical attention. This petition supports the extension of the operating hours of D-hall, E-hall, Health Center, and the extension of Mr. Chips till 2AM seven days a week.
