As a growing community of pickleball players, we find joy and camaraderie in the sport. However, our ability to play during peak hours is limited due to the current operating hours of courts 9A and 9B at Yio Chu Kang Tennis & Squash Centre. We are advocating for an extension of these hours from 7pm to 10pm daily.

The popularity of pickleball is on the rise globally with an estimated increase of about 12% annually (USAPA). In Singapore too, more people are discovering this fun and engaging sport every day.

We understand that extending operating hours may require adjustments to existing lighting systems. However, many players have expressed willingness to use their own personal equipment.
