We, the undersigned, are petitioning Polytechnic Turin to exempt Iranian applicants from having to submit IELTS scores for applying to their programs. We understand that the university has a requirement for international applicants to provide proof of English language proficiency, but we believe that Iranian students should be exempt from this requirement due to the extreme difficulties they have faced in registering for IELTS exams in Iran.

For the past year, Iranian students have encountered numerous challenges in registering for IELTS exams, including frequent cancellations and months-long periods with no available exam dates. These circumstances have made it nearly impossible for Iranian students to fulfill the university's IELTS requirement, despite their best efforts.

We believe that it is unfair to penalize Iranian applicants for circumstances that are beyond their control. Therefore, we urge Polytechnic Turin to consider exempting Iranian students from the IELTS requirement and allowing them to apply to programs without this burden.

We request that the university extend the deadline for Iranian applicants to submit their IELTS score until enrollment in programs , taking into account the ongoing challenges in accessing these exams in Iran.

By granting this exemption, Polytechnic Turin would demonstrate its commitment to providing equal opportunities for all students, regardless of their country of origin. We hope that the university will consider our petition and make the necessary accommodations for Iranian applicants during the admissions process.
