Wir, die Unterzeichneten, möchten gemeinsam unsere Unterstützung für den lebendigen kulturellen Raum namens Astra [1] in Brixen ausdrücken. Astra ist weit mehr als nur eine Veranstaltungsstätte; es ist ein Zentrum für Selbstausdruck und Inklusivität, das Menschen aller Hintergründe und Identitäten einen Zufluchtsort bietet. Von Kunstausstellungen über Poetry Slams bis hin zu Konzerten und Clubbing spielt Astra eine entscheidende Rolle dabei, eine einladende Umgebung für vielfältige künstlerische Ausdrucksformen und Gemeinschaftstreffen zu schaffen – ein unverzichtbarer Eckpfeiler unseres örtlichen Nachtlebens.

Astra ist nicht nur ein Veranstaltungsort, der eigene Events durchführt, sondern öffnet großzügig seine Türen für andere Kollektive und Organisatoren wie Poetry Jam, Placebo Systems, Görentanz (Virus Club) und viele mehr. Diese Zusammenarbeit schafft ein Netzwerk von Ereignissen und fördert eine einzigartige, vernetzte Gemeinschaft. Wir betonen, dass wir bei Astra nicht die Organisation selbst meinen, sondern den physischen Raum, der solche Veranstaltungen großzügig beherbergt.

Die Inklusivität von Astra bedeutet für uns, dass Menschen jeden Alters, jeder Rasse, jedes Geschlechts, jeder sexuellen Orientierung und jeder Herkunft ohne Angst vor Diskriminierung oder Urteil zusammenkommen können. In einer Welt, in der viele Veranstaltungsorte im Nachtleben es versäumen, eine sichere und einladende Umgebung für alle zu bieten, ragt Astra als Leuchtfeuer der Vielfalt und Akzeptanz heraus.

Trotz der Beteuerungen lokaler Politiker, das Wohlergehen unserer Gemeinschaft und das blühende Nachtleben zu priorisieren, stehen wir vor einem erheblichen Hindernis. Astra, ein Raum, der die Vielfalt und Inklusivität bietet, die unsere Stadt braucht, ist durch eine Sperrstunde um 2 Uhr begrenzt, trotz intensiver Bemühungen, erweiterte Betriebszeiten zu sichern.

Es ist entmutigend, dass trotz zahlreicher Versuche, mit den verantwortlichen Behörden in Kontakt zu treten, die einzige Antwort ein knappes E-Mail war, das die Verlängerung ohne weitere Erklärung ablehnte. Wir sind der Überzeugung, dass unsere Gemeinschaft mehr verdient als ein simples "Nein" ohne angemessene Begründung.

Lassen Sie uns die Situation klar betrachten: Astra befindet sich in einer Umgebung, in der erweiterte Betriebszeiten keine Bedrohung für die Nachtruhe darstellen würden. Der Veranstaltungsort ist von einer Hauptstraße, einer Bushaltestelle und einem Friedhof umgeben, was sicherstellt, dass mögliche Lärmbelästigungen minimal sind.

Wenn unsere gewählten Amtsträger wirklich an den Versprechen interessiert sind, die sie während ihrer Kampagnen gemacht haben, und am Wohlergehen unserer Gemeinschaft, müssen sie entsprechend handeln. Astra ist bereit, vernünftigen Vorschriften zu folgen und hat das Potenzial, längere Betriebszeiten anzubieten, ohne die Ruhe der Umgebung zu beeinträchtigen.

Nachtleben kann nicht auf einen starren Zeitplan beschränkt werden, der um 2 Uhr endet. Wenn wir ein blühendes und inklusives Nachtleben wollen, benötigen wir die Flexibilität, über dieses willkürliche Limit hinauszugehen. Darüber hinaus besteht ein dringender Bedarf an legaler und fairer Konkurrenz für den einzigen Mainstream-Nachtclub in der Stadt, der über 2 Uhr hinaus betrieben wird.

Wir erinnern die lokalen Verantwortlichen an ihre letzten Linien in den Wahlprogrammen der SVP von 2023 [2]:

"Kultur Die Förderung und Bewahrung der kulturellen Vielfalt mit all ihren Profilen ist uns weiterhin ein großes Anliegen. [...] Auch stehen wir dafür ein, unseren Jugendlichen einen sicheren Raum für die Nachtkultur zu bieten."

Und den verantwortlichen lokalen Stadtrat für Jugend und Innovation, Peter Natter, der versprach [3]:

"Es gibt viel zu tun. Brixen sollte die jugendfreundlichste und chancenreichste Stadt im Land werden."

In jüngsten Vorfällen wurden lokale Politiker (Peter Brunner und Helmut Tauber) prominent in einem Nachtclub vorgestellt, indem sie sich an Werbeaktivitäten beteiligten und die Bedeutung des Nachtlebens für sie betonten. Jetzt ist der günstige Moment für sie, ihre Hingabe zur Gesamtheit unserer Jugend zu zeigen, die über bestimmte Segmente hinausgeht [4].

Wir fordern eine offene und konstruktive Diskussion mit den lokalen Politikern, um eine Lösung zu finden, die sowohl der Gemeinschaft als auch der kulturellen Vielfalt zugutekommt, die Astra unserer Stadt bringt.

Wir, die Unterzeichneten, bitten Sie dringend, die Entscheidung zu überdenken und auf einen Kompromiss hinzuarbeiten, der es Astra ermöglicht, voll und ganz zum Nachtleben unserer Stadt beizutragen.

[Hinweis: Die Initiatoren dieser Petition stehen nicht in Verbindung mit Astra selbst, arbeiten nicht für Astra und haben in der Vergangenheit nie für Astra gearbeitet.]

Noi, i sottoscritti, ci uniamo nel nostro sostegno allo spazio culturale vibrante noto come Astra [1] a Bressanone. Astra non è solo un luogo; è un centro di auto-espressione e inclusività, fornendo un rifugio per individui di tutti i contesti e identità. Che si tratti di mostre d'arte, poetry slam, concerti o serate in discoteca, l’Astra svolge un ruolo centrale nel fornire un ambiente accogliente per diverse espressioni artistiche e raduni comunitari, rendendolo una pietra angolare indispensabile della nostra vita notturna locale.

Astra non è solo un'organizzazione che ospita i propri eventi; piuttosto, apre generosamente le sue porte ad altri collettivi e organizzatori, come Poetry Jam, Placebo Systems, Görentanz (Virus Club) e altri ancora. Queste collaborazioni creano un tessuto di eventi, promuovendo una comunità unica e interconnessa. Quando parliamo dell´ Astra, non ci riferiamo all'organizzazione stessa; invece, sottolineiamo lo spazio fisico - l'edificio che ospita generosamente eventi come quelli sopra citati.

Quando diciamo che l’Astra è inclusivo, intendiamo che è uno spazio in cui persone di tutte le età, razze, generi, orientamenti sessuali e “background” possono riunirsi senza timore di discriminazione o giudizio. In un mondo, in cui molti locali notturni non riescono a fornire un ambiente sicuro e accogliente per tutti, l’Astra si distingue come un faro di diversità e accettazione.

Mentre i politici locali sostengono di dare priorità al benessere della nostra comunità e alla vitalità della vita notturna, ci troviamo di fronte a un ostacolo significativo. L’Astra, uno spazio che incarna la diversità e l'inclusività di cui la nostra città ha bisogno, è limitato da un orario di chiusura alle 2 del mattino, nonostante significativi sforzi per ottenere orari di apertura prolungati.

È sconcertante che, nonostante numerosi tentativi di interagire con le autorità responsabili, l'unica risposta ricevuta sia stata una breve e-mail che nega l'estensione senza ulteriori spiegazioni. Crediamo che la nostra comunità meriti più di un semplice "no" senza una giustificazione adeguata.

Siamo onesti sulla situazione: l’Astra si trova in un contesto in cui orari di apertura prolungati non costituirebbero una minaccia alla tranquillità della notte. Il locale è circondato da una strada principale, una stazione degli autobus e persino da un cimitero, garantendo che ogni potenziale disturbo del rumore sia minimo.

Se i nostri rappresentanti eletti si interessano veramente alle promesse fatte durante le campagne e al benessere della nostra comunità, devono agire di conseguenza. L’Astra è disposto a conformarsi a regolamentazioni ragionevoli e ha il potenziale per offrire orari di apertura più lunghi senza compromettere la tranquillità dei dintorni.

La vita notturna non può essere confinata a un rigido orario che termina alle 2 del mattino. Se vogliamo una vita notturna prospera e inclusiva, abbiamo bisogno della flessibilità, di estenderci oltre questo limite arbitrario. Inoltre, c'è un urgente bisogno di concorrenza legale ed equa per l'unico nightclub “mainstream” della città che opera oltre le 2 del mattino.

Ricordiamo ai responsabili locali di tenere presente l'ultima riga nei programmi elettorali della SVP nel 2023 [2]:

"Cultura. La promozione e la preservazione della diversità culturale con tutti i suoi profili rimangono una nostra grande preoccupazione. [...] Ci impegniamo anche a fornire ai nostri giovani uno spazio sicuro per la vita notturna."

E al responsabile del consiglio comunale locale per la gioventù e l'innovazione, Peter Natter, che ha promesso [3]: 

"C'è molto da fare. Brixen dovrebbe diventare la città più amica dei giovani e ricca di opportunità del paese."

In recenti occasioni, i politici locali (Peter Brunner e Helmut Tauber) sono stati protagonisti in un nightclub, partecipando ad attività promozionali e sottolineando l'importanza della vita notturna per loro. Ora è il momento propizio per loro di dimostrare il loro impegno per l'intera nostra gioventù, andando oltre specifici segmenti [4].

Chiediamo una discussione aperta e costruttiva con i politici locali per trovare una soluzione che beneficia sia della comunità, che della vivacità culturale che l’Astra porta alla nostra città.

Noi, i sottoscritti, vi esortiamo a riconsiderare la decisione e a lavorare verso un compromesso che permetta ad Astra di contribuire appieno alla vita notturna della nostra città.

Astra is not merely an organization hosting its own events; rather, it generously opens its doors to other collectives and organizers, such as Poetry Jam, Placebo Systems, Görentanz (Virus Club) and more. These collaborations create a tapestry of events, fostering a unique and interconnected community. When we speak of Astra, we are not referring to the organization itself; instead, we emphasize the physical space, the building that graciously hosts such events as the ones mentioned above.

When we say Astra is inclusive, we mean that it is a space where people of all ages, races, genders, sexual orientations, and backgrounds can come together without fear of discrimination or judgment. In a world where many nightlife venues fall short in providing a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, Astra stands out as a beacon of diversity and acceptance.

While local politicians claim to prioritize the well-being of our community and the flourishing nightlife, we find ourselves facing a significant obstacle. Astra, a space that embodies the diversity and inclusiveness our town needs, is restricted by a closing time of 2 am, despite significant efforts to secure extended operating hours.

It is disheartening that, despite numerous attempts to engage with responsible authorities, the only response received was a curt email denying the extension with no further explanation. We believe our community deserves more than a simple "no" without a proper justification.

Let's be honest about the situation – Astra is located in a setting where extended operating hours would not pose a threat to the peace and quiet of the night. The venue is surrounded by a main street, a bus station, and even a graveyard, ensuring that any potential noise disturbance is minimal.

If our elected officials genuinely care about the promises they make during campaigns and the well-being of our community, they must act accordingly. Astra is willing to comply with reasonable regulations and has the potential to offer longer operating hours without compromising the tranquility of the surroundings.

Nightlife cannot be confined to a rigid schedule that ends at 2 am. If we want a thriving and inclusive nightlife, we need the flexibility to extend beyond this arbitrary limit. Moreover, there is a pressing need for legal and fair competition to the sole mainstream nightclub in the city that operates beyond 2 am.

We recall the local responsible to remember their last line in the election programs from the SVP in 2023 [2]:

"Kultur Die Förderung und Bewahrung der kulturellen Vielfalt mit all ihren Profilen ist uns weiterhin ein großes Anliegen. [...] . Auch stehen wir dafür unseren Jugendlichen einen sicheren Raum für die Nachtkultur zu bieten."

And the responsible local city council for youth and innovation Peter Natter, who promised that [3]: 

"There is much to do. Brixen should become the most youth-friendly and opportunity-rich city in the country."

In recent occurrences, local politicians (Peter Brunner and Helmut Tauber) were prominently featured in a nightclub, engaging in promotional activities and emphasizing the significance of nightlife to them. Now is the opportune moment for them to demonstrate their commitment to the entirety of our youth, extending beyond specific segments [4].

We call for an open and constructive discussion with local politicians to find a solution that benefits both the community and the cultural vibrancy Astra brings to our town.

We, the undersigned, urge you to reconsider the decision and work towards a compromise that allows Astra to contribute fully to our town's nightlife.
