In August 2025, I decided to bring the truth to light about abortion allegations in Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS), Virginia. I had tried, desperately, to provide all the evidence to school administrators and executives. But instead of receiving the justice and resolution I sought, I was met with retaliation, intimidation, and threats. My once safe work environment at Centreville High School turned hostile, with the Assistant Superintendent of Region 4 contacting me personally to threaten my career.

I was being targeted and harassed by the very people who were supposed to support our school's mission: the School Principal and the Assistant Principal in my department. To make matters worse, my Union representative revealed that this targeting was orchestrated by higher executives within FCPS. The resulting environment became so uncomfortable, I had no choice but to go public. I wanted the community to understand the toxic climate spreading through FCPS from May 2022 to August 2025.

Silence and inaction were no longer options. Speaking out was my only way to shine a light on the corruption and fear that plagued my professional life. FCPS must be held accountable for creating a climate where truth is punished and genuine concerns are swept under the rug.

We deserve a public school system run with integrity, transparency, and fairness. FCPS needs to implement policies that protect those who bravely come forward with their stories rather than penalizing them. A thorough, independent investigation into the actions and threats made by FCPS administrators must be conducted. Those found guilty of misconduct must be held accountable to ensure no other educator faces the same vindictiveness.
