The Issue

My name is Worthey Grant, and I am a father from the Bronx fighting against systemic judicial abuse in my active Family Court case. This fight is not only for justice but for the safety and well-being of my children.

For over two years, I've been embroiled in a legal battle where I've faced repeated injustices at the hands of Judge Judy McFarland. Throughout this grueling process, my voice has been silenced in court; I've been denied the fundamental right to speak on behalf of myself and my children. Despite presenting substantial evidence that could significantly impact my case, it has been consistently ignored.

The judicial process, which should provide protection and fairness, has instead reissued an order of protection to an individual who violated a previous order and was incarcerated at Rikers Island as a result. This dangerous individual now poses a continuing threat to my children and me.

Adding to this ordeal, confusing court orders instigated by Judge McFarland have led to my wrongful arrest, not once, but twice. The trauma and stigma associated with these legal missteps further exacerbate my distress and the precarious circumstances surrounding my family.

The personal implications of this case run deep, threatening the safety, stability, and future of my children. I am calling upon the community, advocates for justice, and concerned citizens to help expose this judicial misconduct and advocate for a fair review of my case.

I believe that no one should be subjected to such judicial repression and that our courts should stand for justice, dignity, and the protection of the familial bond. I urge you to sign this petition and demand accountability in the Family Court system. Your support is crucial in safeguarding my children’s future and setting a precedent for fairness and transparency in our judiciary. Please sign and share this petition to bring about the necessary change and justice that is overdue.

Dear Editor/Reporter,
I am Worthey Grant, a Bronx father of Immanuel and Selah, also fighting for their older sister Emerald.
I am reaching out because my case exposes urgent failures in ACS and Manhattan Family Court that put children in danger.
- For 3 years ACS praised me as a safe, loving parent.
- My children have now suffered bruises, abuse, and even sexual assault in foster care.
- Meanwhile, their mother — with a violent history and an out-of-state warrant for assault — is still allowed visitation and has taunted me in court by video.
- I, the protective parent, am denied all contact.
This is bigger than one family — it reveals systemic misconduct in New York’s child protection system.
Enclosed in the attached Justice Packet you’ll find:
• A full Press Release with details and legal citations.
• Court filings, motions, and case law references.
• A one-page flyer and social media toolkit for quick coverage.
I am asking for your help to bring this story to light. The public deserves to know how ACS and Family Court are failing to protect children.
